Maple Hill Farm Enterprises, LLC
Welcome to Maple Hill Farm Enterprises, LLC, one of the sweetest places you'll visit in Schoharie County. We are a fifth generation, Maple Syrup producer, producing not only pure Maple Syrup, but Maple Candy and Cream as well. Any time of year you can take a tour and learn from start to finish how Maple Syrup is made. Of course, the best time of year is at the end of winter during sap season. We also have a unique, renovated gift shop on site where you can purchase gift sets we make ourselves, unique gourmet food items, artistic creations and any number of our pure Maple Products. Also in the gift shop we have an education corner and a "wall of history". Books on maple production, maple equipment and infomative information about maple syrup are also available. Stop by and stay a while. Since we are a diversified American farm, we also harvest timber and hay. New in the summer of '05 is our on-site production of Bio-Diesel to fuel our diesel vehicles and farm equipment. In conjunction with our woodworking shop/saw mill, we also design and impliment custom construction projects such as sheds, additions and horse jumps. We are open year round Fridays and Saturdays and during the Christmas season daily as well as daily during Sap season. We look forward to seeing you soon and welcome you into our world during your visit. Tours are offered by appointment.
School Hill Farm
The Radliffs invite you to come visit their diversified dairy and vegetable farm. See the cows, calves, kitties, ducks and more. The Radliffs will provide you with a tour of their family farm and "vegetable garden" where they produce the vegetables for their farmstand. In the age of large agri-business, the Radliffs are proud to maintain their family farm. Visits are offered daily at 9:00 am, 1:00 or 5:00 pm, or by special appointment. For the more adventuresome, schedule an evening tour at 6:30pm. See the cows being milked and learn how quality milk is cooled and stored before it arrives at your grocery store.
